Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Cisco Engineer to join our team, specializing in the installation, administration, and maintenance of Cisco applications and Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting Cisco communication solutions to ensure seamless operations and high availability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, and administer Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Cisco Unity Connection (CUC), Cisco IM & Presence, and other Cisco collaboration applications.
  • Manage and support Cisco Voice & Video infrastructure, including Call Manager clusters, SIP trunks, voice gateways, and telephony endpoints.
  • Implement and maintain Cisco Contact Center Express (UCCX) and Jabber solutions.
  • Perform system upgrades, patches, and migrations to ensure optimal performance and security compliance.
  • Configure and troubleshoot SIP, H.323, MGCP, and SCCP protocols to maintain reliable voice communications.
  • Integrate CUCM with external systems, including Active Directory, Exchange, WebEx, and third-party applications.
  • Monitor and optimize QoS, call routing, dial plans, and call recording solutions for improved performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise voice and collaboration solutions.
  • Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 support and resolve incidents related to Cisco voice and collaboration applications.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures for Cisco applications and services.
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in Cisco Unified Communications and Collaboration solutions.
  • Hands-on expertise with CUCM (Cisco Unified Communications Manager), Unity Connection, Jabber, UCCX, and WebEx.
  • Strong understanding of SIP trunking, voice gateways, PRI, and VoIP technologies.
  • Experience with Cisco ISR/ASR routers, VG series voice gateways, and Cisco UCS servers.
  • Proficiency in configuring dial plans, route patterns, CSS/Partitions, translation patterns, and QoS policies.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues related to voice/video networks, call quality, and collaboration tools.
  • Familiarity with Cisco Prime Collaboration, RTMT (Real-Time Monitoring Tool), and CUCM CDR analysis.
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, QoS, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
  • CCNA Collaboration, CCNP Collaboration, or equivalent Cisco certifications (preferred).
  • Experience working with cloud-based voice solutions (WebEx Calling, MS Teams, Zoom) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Cisco Expressway (MRA), CUBE, and SIP normalization.
  • Knowledge of Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud-hosted voice solutions.
  • Scripting experience with Python or PowerShell for automation is a plus.
  • ITIL framework knowledge for managing enterprise voice infrastructure.
