About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Revenue Operations (RevOps) Consultant to lead the end-to-end migration of our monetization and billing infrastructure from Zuora to Salesforce Revenue Cloud. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in subscription and consumption-based billing models, extensive experience with enterprise SaaS customers, and a track record of successful system migrations in fast-paced environments.
This is a highly strategic role that will work cross-functionally with product, finance, sales, customer success, and IT teams to design and implement scalable RevOps processes that support our next phase of growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the migration of the company’s billing and monetization engine from Zuora to Salesforce Revenue Cloud, ensuring minimal disruption to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Architect and implement consumption-based billing models using Salesforce CPQ, Billing, and Revenue Cloud.
- Translate business requirements into scalable and compliant technical configurations within Salesforce.
- Conduct a thorough audit of current Zuora configurations and usage patterns, identifying gaps and optimization opportunities.
- Partner with engineering and product teams to ensure APIs, integrations, and usage data flows properly into Salesforce for accurate billing and forecasting.
- Implement best-in-class practices for usage metering, entitlements, invoicing, collections, and reporting.
- Manage stakeholder expectations across RevOps, Sales, Finance, and Customer Success teams.
- Document architecture, configurations, and training materials to support post-launch adoption and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with revenue recognition standards (ASC 606), taxation, and audit requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Enterprise Billing Systems, or Quote-to-Cash (QTC) roles.
- Deep experience with Zuora and Salesforce Revenue Cloud (Salesforce CPQ, Billing, and related packages).
- Demonstrated success in migrating large-scale QTC systems in a SaaS environment, preferably for consumption-based models.
- Strong understanding of usage-based pricing, subscription lifecycles, entitlements, and metering.
- Familiarity with Salesforce integrations (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, custom APIs).
- Experience working with finance, product, and GTM teams on cross-functional initiatives.
- Excellent project management skills; PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ASC 606 compliance, revenue recognition, and financial reporting in enterprise software companies.
- Familiarity with tools such as Snowflake, NetSuite, Gainsight, or Looker.
- Prior consulting experience with Salesforce implementation partners or RevOps advisory firms.
