Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Solution/BPMN Architect with expertise in Camunda to design, implement, and optimize business process management (BPM) solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in BPMN 2.0, process automation, microservices architecture, and cloud-native solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of Camunda workflow engine, process orchestration, and integration with enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & BPM Design
  • Design and implement end-to-end BPM solutions using Camunda to automate and optimize business workflows.
  • Develop and maintain BPMN 2.0 models, DMN (Decision Model and Notation), and CMMN (Case Management Model and Notation) solutions.
  • Define and enforce BPM governance, best practices, and standards across business processes.
  • Architect scalable, event-driven, and microservices-based BPM solutions.
Camunda Development & Implementation
  • Configure, develop, and deploy Camunda-based workflow and decision automation solutions.
  • Extend Camunda capabilities using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and external connectors.
  • Implement process automation using Camunda Cockpit, Tasklist, and External Task Workers.
  • Optimize Camunda workflow execution, troubleshooting performance issues, and ensuring high availability.

Integration & Cloud Adoption
  • Design and implement integrations with ERP, CRM, RPA, AI/ML models, and other enterprise applications.
  • Work with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure for deploying Camunda-based solutions.
  • Leverage Kubernetes, Docker, and serverless computing for scalable process execution.
Collaboration & Leadership
  • Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and developers to translate business needs into BPM solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers on BPM best practices.
  • Document technical architecture, workflows, and process automation strategies.
  • Conduct workshops and training on BPMN, Camunda, and workflow automation.

Qualifications & Experience
Technical Skills
  • Strong expertise in Camunda BPM (v7 & v8), including BPMN, DMN, and CMMN.
  • Deep knowledge of BPM concepts, process modeling, and workflow automation.
  • Hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
  • Proficiency in RESTful APIs, Kafka, RabbitMQ, and event-driven architectures.
  • Experience with cloud-native deployments, Kubernetes, and Docker.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Soft Skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and providing technical guidance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 15+ years of experience in platform engineering with a focus on large-scale distributed systems.
  • ~10 years of experience in banking, insurance, or healthcare industries.
  • ~8 years of experience with statistical modeling and Machine Learning, including integrating AI/ML into BPM workflows.
  • ~5+ years of experience leading engineering teams, providing technical leadership, and mentoring.
  • Camunda certification is a plus.
  • Experience with RPA (UiPath, Automation Anywhere) and AI-driven process automation.
  • Knowledge of Low-Code/No-Code platforms.
